The motive which makes to create this playlist is the song Road Meet Sky by The Fauns. The amazing tone of the intro guitar riff shocked me when I was listening to it the first time, so I started to collect several songs with great guitar tone. I'd like to say that I will never be tired of listen to this kind of songs, so I've played this list for dozen of times in recent days.

By the way, as to This Time by Johnathan Ryhs Meyers, it's not about the guitar tone, it's about the lyrics. Sometimes a sentence can make you have the brave to go for a challenging journey. And it really did on me. I think the slideshow before my death must be going to be very exciting, LOL.

Ok Go - This too shall pass

I'm not an Ok Go fan, but the lyrics of this song is so simple but touchy, especially for my current mood. And this video is so cool, it's shot by long-take technique, though someone has busted it that it's not a really long-take video. And this song has two ofiicial versions of music video, one is the cool one above, the other one is on the following link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EltW4w2W_Ys ). Actually I like the later version, but the embedioning function is disabled, so i just can provide the link. Anyway, the good thing of this song is the lyrics, just read it and see if it can remind you something.

Great song, actually the whole album is also great, reminds me of some shoegazing or dreampop bands.

The Radio Dept. - Lesser Matters

Where damage isn't already done, Why don't you talk about it, It's been eight years光看歌名，題材似乎是那種對過去、對遺憾、無能為力的懷想之情，而這專輯聽起來也是如此，有人說The Radio Dept.是shogazing樂團，但我不會這麼說起碼對這張專輯是如此，在他們身上加上所有聽過MBV的人追求的shoegazing對他們來說太沉重，對加上這個標籤的人也太沉重。

整張大部份充斥著不會太濃厚的背景聲響，呢喃的口吻，聽著聽著，過去的記憶、那些你還想再設法做點什麼的事情都被喚起，我想起高中時第一次聽red house painter時感覺，但是當時懵懂的我沒有太多回憶可以感受，現在的我只怕有著太多事可以回憶，我可以肯定的跟你說，The Radio Dept. - Lesser Matters裡的每一首歌都可以當做腦裡播放slideshow時的背景音樂。

Where the damage isn't already done, 是啊，任誰都想回到那傷害還沒造成的時候，那事情還美好的時候，可是，你也知道的，只能在回憶裡或夢裡回想。

DUCKTAILS - LANDRUNNER

大量的phaser, flanger等旋轉系效果搭上厚重的reverb, delay編織而成的音牆，在MBV半隱退的狀態下，有料的shoegazing已經不多見，ducktails是可以給我點shogazing力道的好團。
